BSA Raises Concerns About Workability of California AB 2930

BSA | The Software Alliance sent a letter to the California Democratic chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee concerning recent changes to AB 2930.

Several industry groups are keeping a close eye on AB 2930, including TechNet and BSA | The Software Alliance. On Thursday, BSA sent a letter to California state Sen. Tom Umberg, the Democratic chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, that raised concerns over recent changes to the bill that the lobbyists claim “detract from the bill’s workability and conflate the roles of different actors in the AI value chain.”
