BSA Raises Concerns Over AI Incident Reporting Language in Draft Guidance

“AI incident reporting raises important questions about how it should be implemented because of the complexity and ubiquity of AI, which affects who will know about incidents; how to define the scope of an AI incident, including causation and overlap with other reporting regimes, such as cybersecurity, privacy, and critical infrastructure; and where incidents should be reported,” BSA says in comments to NIST.
