BSA | The Software Alliance provided Law360 with a policy agenda regarding ways to enhance improvements of the quality of the US patent system.
Efforts to improve the quality of the US patent system should be enhanced moving forward, according to a policy agenda provided to Law360 by BSA | The Software Alliance on Monday.
"BSA has a strong track record of advocacy for a patent system that rewards inventors for true, novel inventions, while also enabling parties to weed out overly broad or invalid patent claims," Aaron Cooper, BSA's senior vice president of global policy, told Law360.
"BSA's patent policy agenda promotes a patent system that addresses both imperatives in a way that will incentivize research and development and promote job creation, while minimizing frivolous litigation and anti-competitive results," he said.
