BSA Senior Director, IT Modernization and Procurement Jessica Salmoiraghi Offers Perspective on Tech Policy in NDAA

BSA | The Software Alliance senior director Jessica Salmoiraghi applauded lawmakers for what was included as well as for what was left out of the NDAA. “BSA was heartened to see several constructive outcomes for tech policy as part of the NDAA. Language that was included to promote multi-cloud adoption by government, AI skills development, and streamlined certifications are welcome developments that further enhance government use and adoption of technology,” Salmoiraghi said in a statement to Inside AI Policy. 

“At the same time, BSA was pleased that the NDAA did not include amendments that would have unintended impacts or risk advancing policy out of sync with other parts of government,” she added.
