BSA Statement on CO AI Bill Rightly Focuses on High-Risk Uses, Highlights Additional Concerns

Craig Albright, senior vice president of US government relations at BSA | The Software Alliance, said in a statement that the bill “rightly focuses on high-risk uses of AI and requires the use of meaningful tools like impact assessments and risk management programs to combat discrimination,” but that the industry group “remains concerned about aspects of the legislation that do not reflect the roles of different businesses within the AI value chain.”
