BSA | The Software Alliance Vice President of US Government Relations Craig Albright makes predictions on AI legislation in 2024.
“2023 was definitely a year of teeing up and we're hoping 2024 is a year of action,” said Albright. Albright said bills addressing bias and discrimination within AI systems, and requirements for companies to conduct risk and impact assessments with their models, likely have the most room for common ground between a Republican-controlled House and Democratic-controlled Senate.
