Faced with this threat, post-quantum cryptography (PQC) is becoming a priority for more and more players in the ecosystem. Thus, under the impetus of the American National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), solutions capable of protecting data against these new forms of attacks are being developed. However, it could take years to deploy these technologies on a large scale.
On paper, the U.S. government aims to secure its information by 2035. To accelerate this adoption of post-quantum cryptography, a six-step plan, published by the BSA (Business Software Alliance), which brings together the major American software companies, has been unveiled to guide this transition to a more secure quantum future.
