OECD Data-Access Principles 'Critical' for Trust in Cross-Border Flows, Software Lobby Says

BSA | The Software Alliance has said the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development's declaration of “common principles” on governments’ access to personal data held by the private sector is "critical" for building trust in cross-border data flows.
The OECD’s work on trusted government access to data "will help create a more stable environment for the international data transfers that powers today’s digital transformation,” it said.
