POLITICO Pro Gets BSA's Take on Federal Computer Security Act of 2015

Sens. Orrin Hatch and Tom Carper introduced legislation today aimed at analyzing federal cybersecurity costs and weaknesses. The Federal Computer Security Act of 2015 would require agency inspectors general to report on software licensing costs and the access controls that agencies impose whenever personally identifiable information is kept inside a system. The bill comes with an endorsement from BSA | The Software Alliance.
