A new digital economy agreement between Singapore and South Korea will enable more seamless cross-border data flows and build a "trusted and secure" digital environment for businesses and consumers, said Singapore authorities on Wednesday.
Businesses with dealings in South Korea say they will benefit from the KSDPA.
"Many companies from around the world face a range of cross-border data restrictions in South Korea, and we hope that this agreement will point in a new policy direction," said BSA's Jared Ragland.
