US-Mexico Trade Deal Would Limit Algorithm Disclosure

The TPP, from which the Trump administration withdrew last year, doesn’t mention algorithms. But its inclusion in the U.S.-Mexico deal “shows how trade norms are continuing to develop to enable AI,” Aaron Cooper, vice president of global policy at the BSA | The Software Alliance, told Bloomberg Law.
