BSA Applauds AI Adoption Focus in US-Korea Tech Memorandum
WASHINGTON – Business Software Alliance Senior Vice President of Global Policy Aaron Cooper issued the following statement regarding the Memorandum of Understanding on Technology Prosperity between the United States and the Republic of Korea:
"The Business Software Alliance applauds the Memorandum of Understanding on Technology Prosperity between the United States and the Republic of Korea for its welcome focus on furthering AI adoption. The memorandum’s focus on collaborating on and harmonizing AI policy frameworks helps to further AI adoption and echoes BSA’s call for more consistency and clarity in AI policies in leading economies. The memorandum’s proactive focus on similar collaboration on quantum innovation and standards further signifies positive collaboration between the US and Republic of Korea. BSA looks forward to releasing recommendations to further Korean AI adoption in the coming months, adding to agendas released for the United States, Japan, and ASEAN member states, and amid forthcoming agendas for India, the European Union, and other leading global markets."
