BSA Encourages Restoration of Cybersecurity Info-Sharing

WASHINGTON — BSA Senior Director of Policy Henry Young released the following statement on reports that CISA 2015 will be restored in the tentative deal to reopen the government:

"The Business Software Alliance is encouraged by reports that the tentative deal to reopen the government includes the restoration of CISA 2015, a critical authority that helps protect all Americans. Congress should build upon this welcome step by reauthorizing this bipartisan law, which strengthens cybersecurity by removing barriers to information sharing."
