BSA Member CEOs Speak Out on AI Adoption

WASHINGTON – Chief executives from across the enterprise software industry are speaking out on the importance of artificial intelligence (AI) adoption in a new initiative launched Wednesday by the Business Software Alliance (BSA).

CEOs from Autodesk, Bentley Systems, Cisco, Cohesity, Docusign, PagerDuty, and Siemens joined in the first wave of the campaign, which features original thought leadership from these tech leaders on why AI adoption is imperative, its potential impact, and the policies needed to accelerate it.

BSA launched the campaign on Wednesday with a video featuring Docusign CEO Allan Thygesen. “In this era of global competitiveness, the AI advantage stands to transform every business and government agency,” he says in a video for BSA, which highlights real-world examples such as the company’s Intelligent Agreement Management platform and how it helps government after achieving FedRAMP certification.

The CEO campaign arrives as BSA delivers tailored policy recommendations to spur AI adoption in key global markets.

  • BSA released its US AI Adoption Agenda in July highlighting recommendations for the American market ahead of the White House AI Action Plan release.
  • BSA will release its first global agenda, for ASEAN nations, in Singapore in the coming weeks.
  • Recommendations for Japan, India, and the European Union, along with other major economies, will follow later this fall.

“BSA member company CEOs work with companies and organizations in every part of the economy. We are grateful for their unique insights as leaders of enterprise software companies into the transformative benefits AI offers for governments and companies of every size,” said BSA CEO Victoria Espinel. “AI adoption is imperative for governments and every industry sector, and we will continue working to shape policies that promote widespread AI adoption.”

BSA will feature these CEO voices in the coming weeks, highlighting their individual perspectives on AI adoption for policy stakeholders around the world.
