BSA Pushes for Passage of CISA Act
WASHINGTON – September 24, 2018 – BSA | The Software Alliance urges the Senate to quickly pass HR 3359, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Act, which passed the House in December 2017. This legislation would reorganize an existing part of the Department of Homeland Security to focus on cybersecurity and other critical issues. Strong cybersecurity policies are essential not only for US national security, but also our economic prosperity, as software powers every sector of our economy. We look forward to working with the Senate to bring this important legislation into law.
