BSA Supports CISA Pledge to Improve Security Practices
WASHINGTON — Henry Young, Senior Director of Policy at BSA | The Software Alliance issued the following statement after the release of CISA's Secure By Design pledge signed by enterprise software companies:
BSA has been advancing secure by design software since for years, including through the publication of our first Framework for Secure Software in 2019.
Makers of enterprise software take seriously their responsibilities to customers and the public, and continuously work to improve the security of their products to meet constantly evolving threats. The security of our products sits at the core of how enterprise software companies best serve customers.
The pledge announced today by CISA helps to further elevate the conversation on secure software, and BSA looks forward to continued engagement with CISA leadership to strengthen the entire digital ecosystem.
