WASHINGTON, BRUSSELS – June 10, 2021 – BSA | The Software Alliance is pleased to welcome three new members at the global and regional levels. Zoom Video Communications, Inc. has joined BSA as a global member, and BlackBerry and Dropbox have joined as regional members in Europe. Aparna Bawa, Chief Operating Officer at Zoom, will join BSA’s Board of Directors.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has clearly demonstrated the power of software to connect, secure, and transform our work. I’m thrilled to welcome BlackBerry, Dropbox, and Zoom—leaders in digital transformation, cybersecurity, and video communications—to BSA,” said Victoria Espinel, President and CEO of BSA | The Software Alliance. “The accelerating pace of digital transformation in every industry means it’s more important than ever to build trust through responsible, risk-based approaches to cybersecurity, ensure that consumers around the world have strong privacy protections, and work towards forward-looking digital trade policies that foster innovation. Working with these three great companies will be an incredible asset as BSA continues to grow and expand our advocacy on key issues for the software industry.”
