BSA Welcomes ITA's Digital Initiatives to Prioritize a Digital Economy
WASHINGTON — BSA | The Software Alliance Senior Vice President of Global Policy Aaron Cooper comments on the announcement of the International Trade Administration's series of digital initiatives to help encourage US competitiveness and trade in the statement below:
“BSA welcomes the steps announced by the Department of Commerce to elevate worldwide digital trade, and identify and address digital barriers in overseas markets. United States leadership in digital trade helps to raise economic and democratic standards with our trading partners. The steps outlined by Commerce help to create opportunities for American workers and help US small- and midsized-businesses access global markets in today’s economy. BSA looks forward to supporting this work to build digital diplomacy and maintain US leadership on digital trade.”
