Australia: BSA Response to Cyber Security Strategy “Horizon 2” Policy Discussion Paper

BSA filed the following comments on Australia’s Cyber Security Strategy “Horizon 2” Discussion Paper. BSA urged the Government to streamline overlapping cyber regulations, adopt risk-based frameworks for data protection and AI, take a government-led approach to active cyber defence, promote voluntary vulnerability disclosure, avoid prescriptive sovereignty mandates, and advance international alignment on incident reporting and cloud security certifications.
