EU: BSA Submission to the AI Office Consultation for the First Draft of the Upcoming Code of Practice (CoP) on General-Purpose Artificial Intelligence (GPAI)

BSA's submission aligns transparency, copyright, and systemic risk measures with the AI Act, ensuring obligations remain practical, proportionate, and transparent. In it, we emphasized limiting copyright compliance to training data under providers' control, avoiding overly burdensome transparency requirements, and ensuring risk assessments and audits are voluntary, proportionate, and aligned with industry practices.
