Japan: BSA Recommendations on AI Guidelines and AI Basic Plan

BSA appreciates the continued efforts of the Government of Japan to make Japan the “world's most Artificial Intelligence (AI)-friendly country,” to respond to long-standing challenges in Japan including population decline, insufficient domestic investment, and wage stagnation through the adoption of AI. We welcome the Government engaging with relevant stakeholders in developing the AI Basic Plan and Guidelines which set the government measures to achieve this goal.
