The Economic Times, May 17, 2022. More than 85 global organisations, including some from India, on Tuesday wrote to the World Trade Organization (WTO) members to extend the zero per cent customs duty regime on electronic transmissions.
The Global Data Alliance is pleased to lead a Global Industry Statement – signed by more than 90 industry groups from Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Oceania, and North and South America – supporting the renewal of the Moratorium on Customs Duties on Electronic Transmissions at the WTO’s upcoming Ministerial Conference.
