BSA | The Software Alliance expresses its concerns regarding the Promoting and Respecting Economically Vital American Innovation Leadership Act (PREVAIL Act). The legislation is of concern to many US industry sectors because it would undermine the ability to challenge before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) patent claims that never should have issued.
