Sacramento, CA
BSA co-sponsors Symantec’s CalPrivacyCon2019.
Event Invite
Last year, California passed one of the most ambitious privacy laws in the United States the California Consumer Privacy Act or CCPA. Now the California Legislature – and a host of interested parties – are hard at work trying to make changes to the law before it goes into effect in January of 2020. In the meantime, companies and organizations in California and across the country are making preparations to comply with the CCPA, while other states and Congress are wrestling with their own privacy proposals.
Join Symantec, the Aspen Institute, and BSA | The Software Alliance for our first ever CalPrivacyCon on March 18, 2019 in Sacramento, California. We will bring together leaders from the California Legislature, the business sector, and the privacy community for a morning of discussions about the CCPA, what it means to businesses, and what it says about privacy initiatives in the rest of the country. Don't miss out!
