BSA Senior Director, State Advocacy Matthew Lenz discusses how state lawmakers are taking the lead on regulatory AI legislation.
After Biden’s Executive Order on Artificial Intelligence, state lawmakers are beginning to look at AI regulations.
“Everybody realizes that states are not going to wait around for the federal government or others … and if you’re not part of the conversation your perspective’s going to be lost, and it’s a wasted opportunity to offer insight,” Lenz said.
