Tech Rallies Around Dreamers Amid SCOTUS Case

The Supreme Court today will hear oral arguments regarding the administration’s move to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, an action that would have major implications for the tech world.

BSA, which counts Microsoft as a member, is calling on Congress to take action. “Although the cases before the Supreme Court are extremely important, only congressional action will fully address the problem caused by the DACA termination,” the alliance said in a statement. “BSA urges congressional action supporting responsible immigration policy, including legislation to reinstate DACA protections and to make them permanent.”
