BSA: Bipartisan Work on Digital Transformation Will Continue Into Next Congress
WASHINGTON – Victoria Espinel, President and CEO of BSA | The Software Alliance, issued the following statement following US elections on November 8:
The enterprise software industry’s biggest priorities have won demonstrated, bipartisan support in Congress, which BSA expects will continue into the new session. BSA looks forward to working with leaders from both parties in the next Congress to support digital transformation that helps business in all industries and of all sizes. This includes enacting a strong federal data privacy law, maintaining a balanced and risk-based approach to both artificial intelligence and cybersecurity regulation, and building effective rules for the flow of data across borders. BSA will continue to carry that bipartisan message to elected leaders in Washington, across US state capitols, Brussels and the 30 other countries where we advocate.
