Multi-industry association the Global Data Alliance is set to release a position paper on the Data Act today, focusing on the concerns tech companies (and some from other sectors) have over international data transfers, and data localization requirements potentially brought about by the regulation. The next trilogue on the Data Act is slated for May 23.
