BSA filed comments on proposed amendments to the Ministerial Directions Powers in the Security of Critical Infrastructure (SOCI) Act. BSA also provided recommendations across all proposed measures, highlighting the need for clearly defined thresholds, robust safeguards and review mechanisms, and proportionate, evidence-based use of powers that account for the operational realities of globally integrated cloud and software services.
